UK: Property firm Graham + Sibbald has brought to market the Dalkeith Hotel near Edinburgh in Scotland, inviting offers of around £3 million.
The property offers 33 rooms, a coffee lounge, dining and function room, as well as a 60 cover restaurant which is currently leased to Slumdog. It is located at 152 High Street in the town centre.
Dalkeith Apartments Ltd, the owning company of the hotel, has fallen into administration. Ian Wright and Scott Milne, Quantum Advisory Limited, have been appointed joint administrators.
Peter Seymour, director at Graham + Sibbald, said: “The Dalkeith Hotel currently operates very profitably with a Government accommodation supply contract. New owners, if they wish, will be able to continue this contract with the possibility of the contract term being extended.”
Seymour added: “There is the opportunity to further develop the hotel with the conversion of existing accommodation to an additional eight bedrooms.”
Dalkeith is a town located six miles south east of Edinburgh city centre.
According to the Graham + Sibbald website, the company is currently marketing four hotels in Edinburgh and one within an hour’s drive from Edinburgh Airport. Asking prices range from £1.2 million to more than £2.1 million.
Most recently, Graham + Sibbald was appointed to sell the Tours Warren Hotel Group based in the Rhins of Galloway in Scotland.
